JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Account Executive to join the media team at 4media Group - a fast growing, global communications and content production agency based in a vibrant hub in Clerkenwell.

The JAE will work mainly with our media team, incorporating broadcast and news generation elements. This is an often fast-paced team with a goal of booking great interviews and securing news coverage for campaigns which have been assigned to us. Campaigns can be anything from a top footballer promoting a charity or something a bit more challenging like a diet supplement- having an imagination and initiative is key.

We are on the lookout for ambitious PR professionals, with a creative, can-do attitude and lots of enthusiasm to further their career in an exciting media industry. The vacancy not only offers the chance to work in an exciting media team, but also offers the possibility of working across other departments should you be required.

Partnering with some of the world’s biggest brands in numerous sectors, including British Airways, Unilever and L'Oreal, 4media Group devise, craft and execute creative, attention-grabbing PR campaigns across TV, radio and print/online platforms. The Junior Account Executive will be responsible for securing coverage across these platforms under the supervision of the heads of departments.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and feel comfortable working on multiple projects at once.  They will be confident in contacting broadcasters and journalists and pitching stories to secure coverage.

Candidates must also have strong attention to detail and be comfortable with excel.

The Role:

Duties:

  • Creating radio target lists

  • Speaking to producers on a daily basis and booking interviews

  • Sending out and writing press releases

  • Simplifying survey stats into regional breakdowns

  • Attending company brainstorm

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with journalists and broadcasters

  • Champion the 4media Group and its specialist agencies

Essential Skills:

  • Competent at emailing TV and radio producers on a daily basis

PR Research MANAGER (Atomik Research)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PR Research Manager to join the research division of 4media group, Atomik Research. Atomik Research work with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies on both online and offline research projects.

We are on the lookout for an ambitious PR research professional, with a confident, friendly personality who is motivated to help the company grow.

Partnering with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies in numerous sectors, including British Airways, Unilever,  Weber Shandwick and more, Atomik Research devise, craft and execute robust, attention-grabbing research that frequently generates headlines. The research manager will be the first point of contact for any research queries and will guide clients and in-house teams through the research process and how to get the most out of the data. They will also be present at the ideation stage of a project to advise how research could benefit a campaign. 

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail who feels comfortable working on multiple projects at once. They will have a strong research background and feel confident working with clients and as part of a team and individually. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with clients and able to generate repeat business through those relationships.

Owing to the strong ties between the research team and 4media groups in-house broadcast and news generation teams, the candidate should be able to think creatively and generate new research ideas. The role also requires confidence in reporting back on research and offering comment on findings, occasionally in industry publications.

The Role:

  • Manage client research projects and offer guidance along the way

  • Script client surveys  using Decipher software

  • Identify and collate stats and segmentation analysis from the research

  • Write summary reports

  • Actively participate in brainstorms on a regular basis to offer guidance on how research could enhance a campaign and the types of questions that could be asked

  • Work closely with the account management team assisting with quotes, proposals and questionnaire design

  • Supporting internal marketing activity

  • Track the Atomik brand and research in the media

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in the research industry

  • Confident with Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to work independently to build strong client relationships

  • Creativity and ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team across the company

  • A positive, personable demeanour and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships

ACCOUNT MANAGER (BROADCAST PR)

Partnering with some of the world’s biggest brands in numerous sectors, including British Airways, Unilever and L'Oreal, 4media Group devise, craft and execute creative, attention-grabbing PR campaigns across TV, radio and print/online platforms. The Account Manager or Senior Account Manager would be the first point of contact for existing clients, working with them and the various teams in-house to raise awareness of their messages through PR activity, whilst also forging, developing and fostering new relationships with PR agencies and brands alike.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills and feel comfortable working on multiple projects at once. They will have a strong grounding in PR account management and content creation and will be able to manage clients and campaigns confidently. A ‘can-do attitude’ is vital as is previous experience managing clients.

We need creative thinkers who have the ability to come up with new, innovative ideas to suit a client brief. They will be responsible for pitching new ideas to both existing and prospective clients so the ability to communicate creative campaigns in an enthusiastic manner is essential.

Our in-house radio and TV studios offer clients the chance to talk about their product or service to BBC and commercial media on the back of any story we help them formulate, providing a controlled environment for creativity to flourish.

Working within a dedicated account team, you will be able to manage client campaigns and work collaboratively with various teams within the group to devise campaign strategies and push the company forward.

The Role:

  • Work within a team to efficiently manage clients and their PR campaigns

  • Organise and attend external TV/radio/press interviews alongside the client

  • Organise and attend broadcast sessions in our in-house radio & TV studios

  • Actively participate in brainstorms on a regular basis and be able to pitch these ideas back to a client
