4media group worked with Dreams Beds on their campaign for World Sleep Day by producing a research and news generation project.  The 4media group campaign looked at bed hygiene, from how often people washed their sheets and what might be in their bed to how often they changed their mattress.

The research run by our in-house research division, Atomik Research, revealed that nearly 70% of Brits don’t change their bed sheets weekly. What’s more is that 60% allow pets on their bed, with more than a quarter allowing it every night.

57% made matters worse by admitting they regularly get the munchies in bed, with a quarter admitting they love to eat chocolate and 19% saying they even love a slice of toast under the duvet. In fact 62% of people clean their loo more often than they wash their bed clothes.

22% of people say they have not renewed their mattress after the recommended eight years with a fifth saying they have not changed their duvet.

The news generation campaign secured 19 pieces of coverage across print and online news with highlights including The Daily Mirror in print and online, The Daily Star in print, Men’s Health online, House Beautiful online,  Women’s Health online, MSN and more!
