The highest level of integrity (the journey starts here) Work closely with the company sales leaders to devise and execute a business development plan and process which successfully secures new business Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the company’s ideal clients and service offerings to speak to their value to prospective clients Identify and spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s strategic goals in its key markets Coordinate new business communications, including: call/email outreach, existing lead follow up, and introductory/capabilities presentations Develop and manage a robust pipeline of current and potential clients to maximize business opportunities. Proactively identify potential clients; target them with concise and effective pitches.
Effectively manage multiple business development initiatives with focused attention Seek to build and maintain high-level, strategic relationships with key company leaders responsible for the PR function within their organizations Collaborate and Partner with experienced sales executives and learn additional sales tactics to win deals together.
Leverage Salesforce CRM and other technology platforms to track and report business development activities.
Experience in selling PR Services to Healthcare, PR Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, Government/Agencies, or Corporate (BtoB, BtoC) industries a plus.
What you need to be successful:
- 2+ Years of Consultative Selling Success (PR Services, Video Production, Research/Surveys/lnsights, or Paid Media Preferred)
- Self-starter with a track record of successful lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization
- Pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling
- Call structure/control + Time/ territory management
